My name is Ryan Krumenacker, and I am a student in the Class of 2025 studying mathematical economics in the College of Arts and Sciences. I participated in PURM under the research mentorship of Professor Lu Lu of the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. In this position, I researched machine learning for solving differential equations, specifically studying one-shot learning for the solution operators of partial differential equations.
