Adrenergic Nervous System and Memory

Our project aimed to investigate the adrenergic nervous system's role in memory retrieval. In 2016, some researchers (Takeuchi et al.) published a paper indicating that the projections from the LC to the hippocampus were critical in the consolidation of memory, specifically in the enhancement of memory by a novel stimulus. Currently, we are running an ongoing behavioral study meant to replicate and help analyze the validity of these claims.
