The Effect of PTSD on Reward-Based Effort
My research looked into the underlying mechanisms in anhedonia in the context of PTSD. Although other studies have looked at neurological and subjective measures of reward in PTSD, behavioral measures like reward-based effort, an indicator for anhedonia, have yet to be explored. This study aims to see if there exists a negative relationship between PTSD and reward-based effort when accounting for depression and insomnia symptoms.
