Converted text descriptions of US occupations in Occupational Outlook Handbooks from 1998 to 2020 into structured quantifiable variables using Amazon MTurk while minimizing loss and errors induced from conversion.
Coded interactive website to visualize data with dynamic line graphs and dot plots using Shiny R library
Analyzed occupational data under guidance of Penn Professor Xi Song and visualized result with 10+ graphs using ggplot2 in R to answer questions such as top 10 occupations with most contraction in the past 20 years; graphs were presented at annual American Sociological Association convention as part of research finding
