I am an undergraduate student majoring in health and societies and minoring in french language and chemistry.  My research interests include equitable healthcare and wholistic medicine.  My current research being completed for the HSOC senior honors thesis focuses on the history and current climate surrounding the uptake of doula care in the United States.  Specifically, my project explores the impact that the doula's professional status has on the decision to include a doula during labor and delivery.
