Wes Matthews is a third-year student in the College of Arts & Sciences, hailing from Philadelphia by way of Detroit. He is the recipient of the 2020 College Alumni Society Prize for his poetry and the 2020 Lillian and Benjamin Levy Award for his music criticism. His primary interests lie at the intersection of religion, popular culture, and 21-century American city life.
