As a senior in the college majoring in Psychology and minoring in Sociology, I have been working with the Humanities and Human Flourishing Project in the Positive Psychology Center. This past spring, I had the opportunity to diver deeper into well-being research with the Millstein Family Undergraduate Research grant. My project focused on the relationship between music making and social connection in college students. I am continuing with the lab throughout my senior year as I write my senior honors thesis. I am fascinated by the ways in which humans are able to promote their own well-being in various contexts. I hope to continue looking into factors that influence human flourishing in different environments, such as the work place, school, and other social situations.
