Chaitanya ("Chad") Karimanasseri is an undergraduate at Penn studying Bioengineering and focused on pursuing academic medicine and surgery. Besides his research, Chad has led various student organizations at Penn, including the Penn Pre-Medical Association, Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honors Society, and Reach-a-Peer Helpline, and serves as a peer leader/mentor to other students in multiple capacities. In addition, Chad has volunteered with the Center for Surgical Health and at multiple worship outreach centers in Philadelphia. In his spare time, Chad loves to read and hike with friends.
