My name is Chancelor Mitchell and I am a Junior in the College studying Health & Societies with a concentration in Global Health on a Pre-Dental track. I participated in the PURM 2020 program because I wanted to see Dentistry through the lense of an Academic Dentist. Luckily, I was paired with Dr. Francis Mante, a professor in the School of Dentistry in the department of restorative dentistry. I enjoyed working with Dr. Mante and learning about his research. I believe that it has only furthered my interest in Dentistry, and it taught me a lot about research in general.
