Joyee is a senior majoring in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics and minoring in Legal Studies & History from Hong Kong. Her research interests include environmental justice and social inequality. Her thesis, titled "The effects of Urban Agriculture in Philadelphia on gardeners," and her research group on mentorship are culminations of her time at Penn. Outside of research, Joyee enjoys reading comics, journaling, and running. She is a Civic Scholar and has served on the executive board for Phi Chi Theta, Alpha Phi Omega, and the Hong Kong Student Association.
