Zhangyang Xie
Hi, My name is Zhangyang Xie, and I am a sophomore in the college interested in Science, Technology, and Society and Africana Studies. I've worked with Professor Asif Agha from the anthropology department and Professor Melissa Wilde from the sociology department. I received a PURM funding in the summer of 2021 to create an archive of American religious groups' views on social issues between 1918-1965. Topics covered include: segregation, World War II, global missions, race, eugenics and the population explosion.
