KLauS6 ASIC Tests for Potential Use in Long Baseline Neutrino Experiments

The KLauS6 ASIC, developed by Heidelberg University, is a readout chip proposed to be used in the 3D-Projection Scintillator Tracker (3DST) component of the near detector in the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE). This summer, I conducted tests to verify that the features of the chip work properly.

Hi David,

Very cool project! I heard neutrino can sometimes enter your laptop and mess up the circuit chip in it? Is this why sometimes website crashed or laptop is frozen/malfunction? Is this true or am I mis-understanding something? If it's true, how does it work?
