Lauren is a rising sophomore who is pursuing a premed track in a Biology major. She was most excited to work with Dr. Cereda and his team this summer because of her interest in surgery and hospital procedure. She also has a long-standing academic interest in the effects of inflammation and its treatments because of its role in so many diseases. She learned so much this summer and is excited to continue working in this lab in the fall.
