Steroidogenic Factor 1 (SF1) Neurons and Exercise
This project examines the effects of increasing steroidogenic factor 1 (SF1) neuronal activity in the ventromedial hypothalamus (VMH) via optogenetic light stimulation after exercise training. We hypothesized that the mice that received stimulation following exercise had an increased endurance capacity compared with mice that did not receive stimulation.

Implications for humans
Hi, how could these findings relate to human exercise and health? What would the next steps be? Great poster Trinity and Megan!!
Great job!
This paper dives deep into a fascinating topic and seems very well executed. Nicely done!
