Characterizing Extremal Elements under the Partial Order on Preference Profiles

A preference profile is a collection of preferences individuals have over resources that must be allocated. Some preference profiles are more harmonious than others because they increase the number of individuals satisfied after the Pareto efficient allocation of resources. This project introduces a mathematical formality to the partial ordering on preference profiles, as well as characterizes and describes extremal elements in such orderings.
